After a a three-set struggle last night, Maria Sharapova had to battle back from 5-1 down to defeat Caroline Wozniacki and reach the Rome quarterfinals. Sharapova will become No. 1 next week following Justine Henin's sudden retirement. Venus Williams moved past Vera Zvonareva to join sister Serena in the quarters, while Svetlana Kuznetsova was knocked out. More
